Tycoon Cut Diamonds Explained

This unique cut diamond was designed by the Kejejian cousins, Fourth generation craftsmen in the jewelry industry. After working with some of the most respected designers in the industry they established their own company, Tycoon Jewelry, in LA in 1987.

Their greatest and most challenging accomplishment to date is the vision, conception and creation of the Tycoon Cut diamond. Which made its debut at the American Gem Society Conclave in Philadelphia in March of 2000.

Some compare the Tycoon Cut to the Emerald Cut. They are both rectangular in shape, but that is where the similarity ends.
The Tycoon Cut has superior brilliance to the Emerald “step cut”.  Because of the 9 faceted crown, and the unique “diamond with a diamond on top” the Tycoon Cut offers a far superior sparkle over any other fancy cut diamond.

All Tycoon Cut diamonds over .50cts are laser inscribed on the girdle with a unique serial number and accompanied by GIA certification papers.

Along with the Tycoon Cut Diamonds, they offer a beautiful variety of 18kt Gold and Platinum mountings which can be set with a variety of diamonds.
